Why my phone number is not listed on this site:
Because if I get any more phone calls about genealogy my husband is going to..... well lets just say he is going to be very unhappy with me.
But you can email or write me. Our town just became part of Odenville so Branchville no longer exists.

I will be happy to answer any questions.
I am a very reliable and prompt person. I have been doing genealogy for about 35 years now. I am married, have five grown children, and one grandson and a three year old granddaughter. At the age of 14, I learned about genealogy and how to research from my grandmother. She was the door key keeper for the Genealogical and Historical Society. As time passed I learned more, took college classes and did my own research. In my twenties I began assisting others in their efforts and taught my first genealogy class. I served in the (at that time called) Genealogy Branch Library in Oklahoma, a couple of Family History Centers in Georgia, and now serve in the Family History Center in Birmingham, Alabama as the staff trainer. Over the years I have assisted more people than I can remember, and taught many, many genealogy classes at various public libraries. The last few years I have focused a lot on teaching genealogy and the Internet lessons.
